Located in the Sultan Iskandar Marine Park, in the state of Johor, off the east coast of peninsular Malaysia, in the South China Sea, Pulau Sibu is an undeveloped beach fringed tropical island covered in jungle. This environment naturally offers an array of both land and sea activities. To coordinate these activities Sea Gypsy Village has an Activities & Water Sports Centre which goes under the rather interesting name of Dan’s Nasty Frogmen Dive Base. Accredited by both PADI & SSI the Nasty Frogmen offer everything from DSDs to rescue diver, daily boat diving, snorkelling excursions or just walk off the beach to dive our house reefs. However the Nasty Frogmen are just as at home in the jungle, offering a variety of jungle treks on Sibu and the deserted picture perfect islands around us. Available for rental are sail boats, kayaks, paddle boards and boogie boards for fun in the waves. Below are the full activities that we run:
Picture postcard white sandy beached islands within the Marine Park are the destination for our snorkelling trips. Perfect for all levels of snorkellers and little ones, the coral reefs surround the islands and our experienced snorkel leaders will not only ensure you see the best parts, but make sure you can snorkel safely.

Starting with kid’s tea at 6pm, it continues with an hour of outdoor games to Let Off Steam, expending the last of their energy before heading up to the Kids Lounge for board games, drawing or a kid’s movie, quiet time before bed. The Kids Lounge closes at 9.30pm
