“How did you end up here?” a constant question from guests at Sea Gypsy, a good one, I often wonder myself?  Had anyone asked a teen Linda would you spend 28 years running a resort on a small tropical island in the South China Sea there would have been a categorical and resounding NO!   1. How you ever picked yourself up from this to run and grow full on resort is amazing Linda. Over the years, Sea Gypsy has been the backdrop to many of our stories too… mine were most spent popping up the bar.. I love to visit now but my kids so they get to experience the wonder for themselves.

    I’m so glad you stuck in there… and that the family are taking the reins. I look forward to “Part 2”

  3. Loved reading your first instalment Linda, and can’t wait for the next. We came when we lived in Singapore, continued when we moved to India, and planning visit number 7 now back in the U.K. Probably our favourite place in the world and loving its (and your) history.

  6. At last! The incredible story of Linda Wills and Sea Gypsy Village is being told. An epic adventure with twists and turns aplenty that will make you laugh, cry and gawp in amazement. Sometimes all at the same time. All set on the beautiful Malaysian island of Pulau Sibu. Surely a book deal and Hollywood big-budget movie to follow? Bring on chapter two.
