Pulau Ibol Kechil Dan's Nasty Name: Stone Garden |

The first of two dives that we do on the east coast of Pulau Tinggi, Eboi has three definite sectors to the site. Starting at the north end of the island our descent is to 8 metres on to a rocky sector, which gently slopes down to 14 metres, our maximum depth. Although not very colourful, the cracks and crevices provide plenty of hiding places so we must have a good explore here. We head south and the hard coral becomes more and more abundant as we progress. A nice feature of the dive halfway through is a patch of coral that we call cathedral city (see photo) As we continue on we are slowly ascending and we come into the soft coral with all of the colours becoming more apparent. |
